Clothing Closet - United for Families R.V. Johnson Insurance helped build a clothing closet for United for Families in Port Saint Lucie. United for Families is a non-profit agency charged with supports for children and families served by the child welfare system in four counties. The closet will greatly help this organization to distribute clothing to children up to age 18 in an orderly manner.

Hibiscus Children's Center We donated our charity money for the past year to Hibiscus Children's Center. Like United For Families, Hibiscus Children's Center is in the fight for children that are abused and neglected. Their motto is "giving hope...rebuilding dreams...one child at a time." |

Relay for Life R.V. Johnson employees gathered to raise money for the American Cancer Society's research on April 13-14 2006. We raised over $2500 and were awarded 5th place in fundraising efforts. Relay for Life was held at Martin County High School and the "Twinkling Stars of RVJ" recruited several walkers to celebrate the life those in present, past, and future with cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
For the past two years, R.V. Johnson Insurance has been active in raising
money for Breast Cancer research. In 2006, R.V. Johnson Insurance
was honored with a bronze plaque for raising over $4,500. In 2007,
we hosted a garage sale at the B&A Flea market that alone raised
more than $1,000 to fight breast cancer. We continue to support
the fight against breast cancer.

Gertrude Walden Child Care Center Library R.V. Johnson Insurance gave a charitable donation to the Junior League of Martin County for the benefit of Gertrude Walden Child Care Center. The Junior League Members in Training class built a library for the children at the child care center in the hopes of spreading literacy. |

Kiwanis Club of Stuart
This community
service organization conducts projects throughout Martin County such
as the Kiwanis Park in downtown Stuart, Every Child a Swimmer, Christmas
Shopping Spree, and assists with the Special Olympics in Martin County. Greg
McCampbell, a producer in the Stuart office, is the Vice President of
this Organization and dedicates much of his free time to events hosted
by Kiwanis. |

The Treasure Coast Builders Association
R.V. Johnson Agency is active in the local homebuilders association participating
in several community and membership outreach activities
throughout the year. The TCBA's charitable fund supports the
Future Builders of America and the TCBA Scholarship is
open to any Indian River Community College bound student
pursuing a degree in a construction or business related field. |
