Permanent Life Insurance - This is life insurance that covers the insured for as long as they live.  Premiums for Permanent Life Insurance are guaranteed and the policy may or may not build cash values.  Because Permanent Life Insurance lasts until death, the premiums are higher than Term Life Insurance.  An example of different types of Permanent Life Insurance products would include: Variable Life Insurance, Whole Life Insurance and Universal Life Insurance.
