Homeowners /Condo Unit Owners Insurance
Your home is probably your most valuable asset. For this reason, you should have a Homeowner/Condo Insurance policy that gives you the protection you need at the best possible price. We have relationships with several homeowners’ insurance companies when helping you with your policy, so we are able to match the right coverage to your needs.
The time you need us the most is in the time of a claim. Let us report the claim to the insurance carrier for you to ensure quick and efficient claims service. All of our homeowners’ insurance companies provide outstanding claims service, with response within 24-48 hours of the notice of loss. We have a 24 hour claims line at our office that is monitored daily, including weekends.
Full Replacement Value
If you experience a covered loss in which an item is destroyed or stolen, your Homeowners Insurance policy will pay to replace the item up to the limits stated within the policy less your selected deductible. The difference between replacement cost and the actual cash value can be considerable.
Replacement Cost - cost to replace of like, kind, and quality (recommended)
Actual Cash Value - replacement cost less depreciation
The "open peril" deductible is for causes of loss including, but not limited to, fire, theft, lightning, water backup and vandalism. You will be covered up to your Homeowners’ Insurance policy limits less the deductible for these losses. Every policy is different, so please check your policy for the exclusions and conditions of your coverage.
The cause of loss of Wind/Hail/Hurricane usually requires a separate deductible, and is most likely a percentage of your dwelling value. The most common Wind/Hail/Hurricane deductibles are 2% and 5%. In certain policies, Wind/Hail/Hurricane coverage can also be excluded if desired. Please check your Homeowner’s Insurance policy for further specifications.
